Title - A May morning along the shores of Loch Ness.
In the opening shot of this film, a car travels down a road which runs in parallel to Loch Ness, and in the background, great hills surmount the area. Next, a car has pulled over and the passengers are looking at the wild flowers that have flourished by the side of the road.
Title - We halt in Glen Shiel amidst the majesty of the Kintail.
A car drives down country road, with the mountains known as the five sisters of Kintail providing an impressive backdrop. Cutting away from the road, the filmmaker captures water rushing down a fast flowing stream.
Title - Eilean Donan castle one of the lovliest scenes in the west, links Loch Duich and Loch Alsh.
From an elevated position overlooking Loch Duich, the extremely grandiose Eilean Donan castles sits on the bank, and a four sailed sailing boat bears across the calm waters.
Title - At Kyle of Loch Alsh, we cross to the Isle of Skye.
Cars, transported across the loch by a transport ferry, land on shore and drive off. In the next shot, a woman stands next to a parked car looking at the mountainous landscape, and a sign in the foreground reads, 'Torrin'. Following this, a panoramic view Shows Mountains shrouded by mist, and below, houses nestle amongst the planes.
Title - The following morning, we are many miles to the south in the Great Glen of Scotland.
A woman walks down a road and cars rush past her at considerable speed. An expansive shot shows the Great Glen of Scotaland.
Title - Ben Nevis has not yet discarded the mantle of winter.
From a distance, various shots show Ben Nevis towering above the landscape, and the peak retains remnants of snow.
Title - Skirting the upper shores of Loch Linnhe, we cross Loch Leven at Ballachulish.
A ferry sails across Loch Leven, and on the opposite side the loch, houses can be seen amongst the lower levels of the oblique landscape, and in the next shot, there is a deserted beach. Following this, Cars disembark from another transport ferry, which the camera is then placed on as it returns back across Loch Leven. Cars then drive down a country road with a mountain high above.
Title - So we reach Oban, shipping centre of the western Isle.
A panoramic view of Oban shore front; multi-storey buildings line the coastal front and Oban village pervades the hills. Cutting away, the filmmaker captures row boats and passenger ferries in the harbour. Next, Highland cows with young calf's wait on the dock before men in work slacks push them into metal containers, which are subsequently hoisted onto a ship. This sequence is concluded by a melange of shots showing steam ferries sailing through the loch.
Title - A day's sail gives us the opportunity of exploring the Isles and Lochs of the Firth of Lorne.
From a ferry, the filmmaker captures various shots of the surrounding hilly landscape, and shots of the passengers on-board; a group of woman run brushes through their wind swept hair.
Title - We have an unexpected companion on our trip to Port Appin.
On a motor boat filled with passengers, a little black dog is also on board isgiven lots of attention. This is followed by scenic stretches of coastline taken from the motor boat.
Title - We pause at Loch Etive to see Ben Cruachan emerge from the clouds.
An expansive shot captures Ben Cruachan from a distance. Highland cows graze in a fields and one cow lies on a road.
Title - To Oban's shores we return, to enjoy the full beauty of a highland spring.
Expansive view of Oban shore; boat idles in the Loch and men stand fishing on a rocky bank. A fishing boats sail towards Oban. Next, sheep graze in a field by the loch with a sparse mountain range in the background. The final shot of the film shows a glorious sun set as its drift beneath the peaks of distant mountains.
