The film opens with a woman sitting on the floor with a toddler; he sits on a toy cart with wheels. Following this is a shot of a woman's hand opening a door to the nursery so that the camera can go inside. There are two women sitting on their knees beside the toddler who is at a small table. The room is full of shelves and tables and some cots. The women play with blocks with the toddler; they stack them up and knock them down. One of the women stands the toddler on the table and in another shot she hold s a baby and smiles at the camera. The women continue to play with the child. In the next scene two young men watch as a barber cuts a client's hair; the two men wear work jackets. There is a zoomed in shot of the barber cutting a section of hair and then a shot of the back of the man's head. The barber rubs shampoo into the hair and then washes it out under the tap. The barber towel dries the man's hair and rubs his head for a few minutes. Then he combs his hair flat and to the side. The students stand and watch as the barber blow dries the hair over a comb and flat onto the man's head.
