This is a holiday film taken at Butlins' Holiday Camp in Skegness. It includes footage of holidaymakers playing games and dancing. The film begins with a large banner strung across a street proclaiming 'Skegness Welcomes You'. People walk around with a large clock tower in the background. Cars drive along a street, and people in fancy dress walk through a park. Others are on a boating lake, with a helter-skelter in the background. On the beach, there are children and donkeys. There is a view of the pier entrance and then of the pier taken from the beach. Next there is the North Pool at Butlins' Holiday Camp in Skegness, showing the chalets, tennis courts and other areas. There is a holiday camp ride, a 'train' on wheels, with the carriages having round striped canvas tops. A group of youths watch a procession go past which is led by a brass band. There are lots of people on the procession, with groups behind large banners: there is one for 'York' and others for 'Windsor' and 'Gloucester'. At night the Butlins' Ingoldmells Hotel is displayed in lights, as is 'Butlins' Skegness Holiday Camp'. Inside people are holding hands dancing in a circle before breaking off into pairs. Also lit up at night time is the sign, 'Our True Intent is your Delight'. In the daytime there is an outside concert with people seated on the grass and large marquees. Then on to a roller skating ring and holidaymakers are playing games while they sit in lines on the grass. There is a striped contraption with a clock face and a slowly rotating top, and women are lined up doing exercises. There is a fountain and people diving into a swimming pool. A boy clambers onto an old stagecoach. There are rowing boats on a lake, and more games, with children on the beach and then in a playground. A figure covered with flowers emerges out of the mechanical contraption. The film then switches to a bonfire raging at night time as well as a fireworks display before the film comes to an end.
