Title - Supper and Dance Wortley Hall A car arrives at the hall at night. Inside a man is speaking, holding up a card, to a full room of men and women of various ages. After dinner there is a dance with the Cliff Wade jazz band playing. They then play a game of passing a balloon to each other between their legs. A man and a woman do a song and dance act watched by an audience sitting around the hall at tables covered in beer bottles. There follows more dancing of different kinds, including the twist and ballroom dancing. They all then sit in a circle and play a game of 'pass the hat'. Intertitle - Over '60s A large group of elderly people, mainly women, are seated in a room in a marquee. Intertitle - Kiddies Xmas Party Children of mixed ages are seated in a large room at long tables wearing paper Christmas hats. On the table sandwiches and cakes are laid out, and each child has a bottle of orange with a straw in it. Teachers and parents are stood against the outside wall and then gather together to pose for a photograph. Some of the girls do a modern jive dance, one of them sings and then more children perform, with two younger children doing the twist. Soon everyone is doing the twist. It comes to an end with two men dressed as girls carrying dolls do a comedy act and play music.
