Title-Empire News Bulletin
Rough Rider
Many competitors avail themselves of `assisted passage' facilities in Victory Cup Trial. Birmingham.
A crowd of spectators have gathered around to watch as competitors ride off from the starting post. Some motorbikes make their way along a muddy road, while another motorbike with a sidecar and passenger, get stuck trying to get up a steep hill. Two men run over with a rope, attach it to the front and pull them up; they do this with several competitors. There is a shot of a woman on a motorbike, struggling to push herself along but she is given a helping hand by a spectator.
Following this are shots of a motor car which is also taking part in the competition; it drives along a muddy track.
