This film documents a trip to the 2007 First Light Movie Awards ceremony in London. The students also take a trip to Number 10 Downing street, as well as visiting tourist attractions such as the London eye and Big Ben. Title - First light movie awards 2007. Title - Downing Street. The film opens with two male students standing outside number ten Downing Street. They talk about their experiences of the evening, which involved having their photos taken and meeting Gordon Brown. There are then shots of Big Ben and one of the boys talks about chatting up a 19 year old girl while the other boy makes a phone call to his mum. There are shots of the boys walking down streets in the centre of London, before stopping to admire the London Eye from across the River Thames and one boy likens it to a roller coaster. The next sequence opens with a shot of the words, 'First light movie awards 2007', projected onto a wall. The students gather with people outside as they are admitted into the venue. Inside, there are shots of the boys mingling with others guests, before they are interviewed by a film crew. They then take their seats for the screening which features a snippet from a Newman school film called 'Personal Demons'.
