Title-The Denton Moor for The Ilkley Grand National, `All hope abandon, ye who cannot steer'
Title-Melting snow and soft ground made matters very jolly, `A skidding wheel fathers no cups'.
A motor cycle rides down a hill towards the camera. There are shots taken from behind the bike on the hill, as it rides down the muddy track
Title-The Ravine at Loftshaw Gill Head, `Too Many rocks spoil the "bus'.
A bike carefully rides along the track, past the judge who is sitting on the ground. The shot from the top of the hill looks down and captures the rider falling off his bike. There are close up shots of more riders falling off their bikes or losing control of them on the rocky track.
Title-Crossing the Head of Dearncombe Beck, `A bike on the track is worth two in a bog'.
Shots taken from one side of a bog, looking across at riders making their way across; some get stuck in the mud while others fall off their bikes. Many funny shots of riders flying off their bikes into the mud.
Title-Audacity is the mother of conviction.
One man rides at speed but the front wheel of his bike gets stuck; he falls over the front of the bike and bangs his face!
One man sits beside his bike in the mud and repairs it with a wrench. Several more men fall into the mud head first, form their bikes.
Title-The End.
C.H. Wood, Bradford.
