This is a film made by Mexborough Technical College teacher George Spurr of a new baby member of the family, his great niece.  The film is at the new bungalow of his nephew, David Tyas and his wife Jennifer. The film begins with a girl posing for the camera with a small child, George's great niece, in a pram, who is drinking orange juice from a bottle.  Indoors a woman sits at a table laden with food, while another woman, George's niece Jennifer, holds her baby.  Then out in the garden Jennifer and the girl together help the child take a few steps.  Jennifer, wearing a short purple dress, pushes the child in a buggy and takes her indoors where she sits on a rocking horse in front of a gas fire, again with a bottle of juice.  Outside the child is again helped to take a few steps walking by her mother.
